"This colourfully painted terracotta head shows Bendis: the Thracian goddess of the hunt, comparable with the Greek Artemis and the Roman Diana.
The goddess can be recognised from her headdress in the shape of a lion's head and the winglets at her temples.
The head served as an atefix.."
